1/ Narratives & Catalysts
Narratives for 2023 (defi_naly)
These are pretty “safe” bets for 2023.
(if “safe” even has any meaning in crypto)
Interesting to see Fantom make a comeback here, in my opinion one of the most undervalued L1.
New narratives in 2023 (corleonescrypto)
NFTfi & NFT Marketplaces still haven’t really played out.
Blur airdrop is in a few days (02/14), we could expect some movement there.
RealYield is a long term narrative for 2023. I’m confident it will last.
AI narrative is riskier, has played out already, but should have more catalysts this year.
I would not consider Bera as a memechain, it is actually a project with strong fundamentals and a knowledgeable community, acting like it’s a meme.
They could actually attract both type of investors: informed knowledgeable investor, and meme investors/moonboys.
The only way to invest in Bera for now is investing in the NFT collections.
LSD Narrative (LouisCooper_)
Like Louis I believe we will see more of LSD Narrative as we’re getting closer to the Shanghai Upgrade.
With ETHx, home stakers will have the lowest bonding requirements in the ETH staking space at 4 ETH. Something revolutionary made possible by Stader.

Catalysts to watch in February (TheDeFinvestor)
Vela open beta finally. I don’t see it bullish short-term (sell the news event). Might be a good opportunity to buy a dip.
Sushiswap joining the NFT narrative.
Spin confirmed airdrop on NEAR.
Spin could be the biggest trading platform on NEAR, so not to fade.
2/ Events
Umami “rug pulled”? (Clonescody)
Umami priced dropped a lot (-50%+) after the CEO dumped all of his tokens.
Umami is now going down the path of decentralization through a DAO structure.
Could be bullish, if they manage to do it and keep building. I bought a risky bag.
Before this event it was already not doing especially well for a project on Arbitrum.
TraderJoe X LayerZero (traderjoe_xyz)
JOE to become an OFT By adopting the omnichain fungible token (OFT) standard, JOE becomes a truly native, multichain token that can be bridged – without the security risks of ‘wrapping’ – to different blockchains with a 1:1 ratio.
Everything that Joe’s team has been doing lately seems bullish to me (i.e going multichain successfuly).
StarkWare X Chainlink (chainlink)
Bullish for StarkWare.
GammaSwap Seed Round (GammaSwapLabs)
GammaSwap keeps building, and is definitely a project to keep an eye on for when the token will be launched. Extremely bullish.
Only testnet is available for now.
Metaline on Arbitrum (Metaline001)
Arbitrum is still where things are happening.
More and more projects are deploying on Arbitrum.
MetaLine is a large-scale Web3-based multi-connect game for nautical management, adventure and strategy.
Avault on Arbitrum (AvaultOmni)
Avault is a one-stop omnichain yield platform that aims to help users to use Web3 Dapps easily.
Pocket Network integrated with Arbitrum (POKTnetwork)
Pocket is bringing the power of decentralized RPC infrastructure to Arbitrum.
Camelot X PlutusDAO (PlutusDAO_io)
I mentioned Camelot a few times these past couple of weeks. It is now the top Native DEX on Arbitrum, the biggest Layer2, but still a “low cap”.
They keep building, they keep making partnership with OG protocols on Arbitrum.
